The iBeam Optical CanvasTM

The iBeam Optical CanvasTM is a revolutionary new product that will change the way you draw forever!

We present to you a canvas that never needs to be erased, that requires not the use of messy drawing materials, that you can draw on from twenty feet away, and that will blow your mind with unbelievable trippy visuals!

iBeam artists employ the use of the iBeam Optical StylusTM to create visual art on the surface of the Optical Canvas. The Optical Stylus produces a monochromatic beam of coherent light, which the Optical Stylus reacts to in amazing ways!

Here is a simple, lights-on demonstration of an Optical Canvas:

Latest Prototype Hits Its Mark!

Added 1/17/10

We are happy to announce that the latest prototype outperforms its predecessors. This means that production operations have begun, as the materials are on their way.

We are currently accepting pre-orders for Glow-boards and for Blue Laser + Glow-board packages. We are also accepting non-obligatory reservations for any size Glow-board. Reservations help our operations to run more smoothly. As our current resources are in limited supply, Blue Laser + Glow-board packages are on a first-come, first-serve basis (available while supplies last).

This new prototype is sized at 9" x 12", so it's somewhat smaller than the smallest Glow-board we are offering. As the videos demonstrate, the latest prototype is much more camera friendly than earlier versions. The glow effect can be seen for close to 10 seconds on-camera, and it can be seen for several minutes in-person.
